We recommend acclimatizing for 1 or 2 days in Cusco before the tour. Bring warm clothing, especially for the morning.
Itinerary
- 4:30 a.m. – Pick up from the hotel in Cusco
- Departure by tourist transport to Cusipata.
- Breakfast stop.
- 7:30 a.m. – Continuation of the trip to the starting point of the hike.
- 8:30 a.m. – Hike to the top of the mountain (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours)
- During the ascent, you can enjoy Andean landscapes, alpacas, vicuñas, and glaciers.
- 10:30 a.m. – Arrival at the Vinicunca viewpoint (5,036 meters above sea level)
- Time for photos, rest, and explanation from the guide.
- 11:30 a.m. – Return to the starting point.
- 1:00 p.m. – Buffet lunch in Cusipata.
- 2:00 p.m. – Return to Cusco.
- 5:00 p.m. – Arrival at the hotel.
