No license is required to drive the quad bike, but good coordination is necessary. Not suitable for people with heart or respiratory problems.
Itinerary
- 3:30 a.m. – Departure from Cusco: We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco. We will travel by tourist bus to Cusipata.
- 5:30 a.m. – Breakfast: We have breakfast at a local restaurant.
- 6:00 a.m. – Transfer and Instructions: We will transfer you to Japura, the starting point of the ATV tour. At 7:30 a.m., we will give you instructions and provide safety equipment.
- 8:00 a.m. – ATV and Hiking Route: We begin our adventure on ATVs heading towards the hiking area. At 9:00 a.m., we begin the 40-minute hike to the summit of Vinicunca.
- 10:00 a.m. – Colorful Mountain: We visit the Colorful Mountain viewpoint (5,036 meters above sea level). Enjoy time for photos, rest, and explanations.
- 10:30 a.m. – Vale Vermelho: We walk to Vale Vermelho (about 25 minutes). We explore the red and silent landscape of the valley.
- 11:30 a.m. – Return and Lunch: We return to the starting point. At 12:30 p.m., we return by quad bike to Japura. We have a buffet lunch in Cusipata at 1:30 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m. – Return to Cusco: We begin our return to Cusco.
- 5:00 p.m. – Arrival: We arrive at the hotel.
