Choquequirao Trek 4 Days / 3 Night
We picked up guests at their hotels at 5:00 a.m. and traveled by tourist bus to Cachora. We began the trek from Capuliyoc, with impressive views of the Apurímac Canyon. We descended to Chiquisca (1,900 meters above sea level). Overnight stay at the campsite.
We have breakfast early. We make the intense climb towards Marampata (2,900 m.a.s.l.) with spectacular views. We have lunch in Marampata. We walk the final stretch to the camp near Choquequirao. Overnight stay at the camp.
We took part in a guided tour of the Choquequirao citadel. We enjoyed some free time to explore terraces, temples, and enclosures. We returned to the Chiquisca camp. Overnight stay at the camp.
We have breakfast. We climb up to Capuliyoc. We have lunch on the route. We return to Cusco by vehicle. We arrive at the hotel at approximately 6:00 p.m.
