Ausangate + Mountain of Colors 2 Days / 1 Night

Approximately 20 km in total (6–7 miles per day, depending on the campsite).
Trekking enthusiasts, nature photographers, physically fit travelers, explorers of remote landscapes, and Andean glaciers.
High altitude – Hiking at over 5,000 meters above sea level, cold conditions, and uneven terrain.
Requires prior acclimatization in Cusco (minimum of 2 days recommended). Not suitable for people with heart or respiratory problems.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 a.m. We will transfer you to Tinki (about 3.5 hours). We will have breakfast on the way. We will start the approximately 3-hour hike to Upis, where we will have lunch. We continue towards the campsite near the Ausangate snow-capped mountain. Enjoy a hot dinner under the stars and spend the night in tents. Overnight stay at the campsite (Upis or Huayna Ausangate area).

We had breakfast very early. We started the hike towards Vinicunca, crossing impressive Andean landscapes, local communities, and herds of alpacas. We arrived at the Colorful Mountain viewpoint (5,036 m.a.s.l.). Enjoy free time to appreciate the view and take photos. We descended to the meeting point with the transport. We had lunch in Cusipata. We returned to Cusco and arrived at approximately 5:30 p.m.
